Keepin' it on the down low....

I have a head/sinus cold, so I've been laying low all weekend. We did go to the partayyy on Friday night, and I did get some pics after the alcohol kicked in. We had a great time....with great friends. I'll keep this post short + sweet since I feel like crap. Hoping the Jack Daniels I added in w/ my hot chocolate is going to work some feel good magic here soon! =D

We did a Chinese gift exchange @ the party. This girl picked one of the gifts we brought......an inflatable black sheep! hahaha!!!

S.H.I.T. (So Happy It's Thursday)

Howdy to all! I've been slackin' again with the posting, but work has been crazy with a capital "C". So far, I'm still loving the new job. I like it when my mind is kept busy all day.

Tomorrow night, the Mr and I have a little party to attend. So it was off to the ole WalMart after work to pick up a few items. I swear we stood in line for over 20 minutes, since they had like 5 registers out of 26 open. Seriously, what the hell is up with that? I was wishing the entire time that we had a Target closer to where we live. Maybe Santa will bring me one this year.....and put it right around the corner from where we live. I would be in heaven!!! Speaking of Santa.....look who got all dressed up for Christmas!

Oh so Stuffed!!!

Ugh! I am so stuffed from Thanksgiving. I think if I see and/or smell another piece of turkey I'll just spew! Seriously.....really good food (Thanks Mom!), really good nap, and really good Beyonce special on TV. Sorry I don't have pics to post, I was too busy getting things prepared and of course, stuffing my face. =D

New Moon!!! Oh.my.gosh! I cannot even describe how much I loved this movie!!! Hubby had a ton of homework + project he had to complete, which = serious grumpy pants. So I ventured out alone, in the rain, to see part 2 of the Twilight Saga......and it was freakin' awesome! Seriously folks.....I loved Twilight, but New Moon absotively blew me away! I'm not going to describe any parts, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone that has not seen it yet.........but I do have to confess, I seriously considered becoming part of Team Jacob. Hmmm? Why you ask? I can't tell you....you just have to go see it. And when you pick your chin up off the floor, I think you will agree with me. ;0D

Are you ready for the Weekend?!?

I've been a bit M.I.A. lately, but I have a good excuse. I started a new job and have survived my first week. Yay for me! The job I left had way more "down time", and I could goof around on the internet....tend to my Farmville on Facebook....even paint my nails if I wanted.

Nahsomuch with this new gig.....serious work and little play.

Plans for the weekend......getting my Rapunzel hair trimmed, not butchered/hacked/whacked/or effed up....if you know what I mean. Seriously....my hair is loooooooong and to my waist. I would post pics.....but I look like an elephant and I don't think this blogger can handle uploading all that image! On a positive note, I have been exercising w/ my FIRM tapes and walking/jogging on the treadmill. Maybe I'll be picture-postworthy soon! =D And lets not forget what came out in theaters today......

Yep....New Moon has hit the big screen, and I am dying to see it! Friends of yours truly have let me know texts/Facebook posts/Emails that it is awesome. I believe I heard we have more rain coming our way, so that just sounds like the perfect chance to go see it. Other than that....don't think I have anything else planned. Maybe I'll squeeze in some scrapbooking. =D

Yesterday was absotively gorgeous here in SC. While the hubby and I were out
grabbing a sub sandwich, I spotted a blimp in the sky. I decided that after lunch, I would
set out to find that blimp!

Along for the ride was Lily, who I had promised I would take to the park for some
sniffing and squirrel gazing. So off on our adventure we went!!! As promised, we went
to the park first, and while she was busy sniffing, squatting, and staring at squirrels.....I had
the camera out taking pics of the beautiful fall trees.

After all that blimp chasing, we decided to head back home.
Then I got a fabulous idea....to take some pics of the fall trees
around our neighborhood. What can I say....I love Fall!!!!

Ok....so since the wonderful owner of Chicks Love Chocolate
was so sweet and thoughtful...and gave me these wonderful
gifts, I had to make her a Thank-You gift.
We have actually been working together for about a year,
and tomorrow is my last day. I have been with the company
I work with for 3 years, but I recently accepted another job offer.
I'm looking forward to my new adventure and the people I will
meet, but I'm sad to leave this group that I have been with for 3
awesome & fabulous years.
